Drops
Approximately 100 allocated bottles drop weekly — your best chance to get allocated bourbon in Durham. Drops are first-come, first-served at participating stores.

Annual Lottery
The lottery is a once-yearly opportunity for the rarest spirits, running during the fall and winter months.

Special Release Events
Throughout the year, Durham ABC hosts periodic special events tied to holidays, store openings, and other occasions. These feature highly allocated bourbon and limited-availability spirits, announced primarily on this site.
All events are free and open to the public. Bottles are distributed via first-come, first-served or other fair methods (such as a randomized lottery) as specified per event. Participation guidelines are posted with each announcement to ensure orderly and equitable distribution.
