Welcome to Durham County ABC's Grant Program 2024!

At Durham County ABC, we are committed to the vision of a healthier and safer community. We believe in the power of collaboration and community-driven initiatives. Together, we can build a healthier and more resilient Durham. In our ongoing dedication to the well-being of Durham County residents, we are thrilled to announce the launch of our annual grant program for 2024!

Who should Apply?
Our grant program offers vital financial support to non-profit organizations committed to creating positive change in Durham County.

By North Carolina legislature, our grants fund organizations with projects dedicated to the prevention and treatment of alcohol and substance abuse, promoting awareness of alcohol and substance abuse, and educating the community on the challenges and solutions related to alcohol and substance abuse in Durham County.

How to Apply

The application will open on April 1st, 2024
Application deadline is May 31st, 2024

Durham ABC uses ZoomGrants to collect and review grant applications. If you are new to ZoomGrants, we recommend registering for an account in advance.

For ZoomGrants experienced users, we recommend ensuring that your account information is up-to-date and ready for the application open date of April 1st, 2024.

A virtual information session will be held on April 9th, 2024 at 11:00AM. We encourage organizations who have questions about the application to join us for an opportunity to speak with members of the Durham ABC Grant Committee, Board and staff directly.

 for non-profit organizations in Durham County that concentrate on preventing alcohol abuse, educating about substance abuse, and raising awareness.

The information session offers potential applicants a chance to ask questions about the grant application process, selection criteria, committee expectations, and everything in between. It aims to foster communication, collaboration, and transparency between grant seekers and committee members. Active participation and questions are encouraged for better engagement and understanding.
